I think the reason they drowned while being a puppet is because when they swim they get water inside and if they don't hurry they will die because the water will flood inside and damage the machine, but i think this reason is not very reasonable 🤔

My theory is that they're both just cold blooded. Like they still need air to survive, but they can adapt to and survive in any climate bc temperature doesn't matter to them. I mean they do heave and moan when they're climbing like everyone else 😭

The steam indicates body heat, which is why it’s only visible in dragonspine . In the case of wanderer and raiden, their breath simply isn’t warm enough to generate the steam particles. This however, does not mean that they do not breathe in general.

Possible reason: Puppets are mostly wood, wood doesn't like water, water make them sink, they drown

Actual reason: GAME LOGIC

I mean , they can sink cuz no air = no boyancy

It’s not like they are actually dead just knocked out plus even though they are puppets they still get tired

They dont drown due to lack of air. They drown due to exhaustion

what if. they didn't drown. something's dragging them down. 🌚

cause you can't make a invincible genshin character, simple game logic

Because they run out of stamina, they stop being able to swin, they haven't drowned, they just sunk and didnt have the energy to get back up

We actually made up of wood and metal and the metal in us is heavy so we sink, but the wood make us float but, the wood slowly absorb water making us heavier so we can't swim

It's not abt breath for them is that they either don't have energy or no stamina to swim longer but the dying afterwards doesn't make sense

Because it would be OP to make them swim without that issue. It's like the same as giving Venti the ability to fly endlessly all over teyvat

I think it’s because of exhaustion. You drown when your stamina runs out, so maybe they couldn’t swim anymore and “drowned.”

Because they are playable characters and have to function like other playable characters

Because tiredness, they don't die because they drown, they get stuck in the endless pits of the abyss

I mean, it never says you NEED to breathe…

I always assumed that they do breathe, but you don't see puffs of air in dragonspine because they don't have body heat. that would explain the drowning and the climbing noises

The water is filling up their bodies and basically shuts down their systems.
