Why does everyone treat killing a character as some massive story telling accomplishment? There are far more interesting ways to break peoples hearts than through the most obvious one ever.

They killed a launched character and it's was even a girl. Now, don't get me wrong, i like Psyche a lot, but she is the type of character you'll never expect to just… Die.

That scene actually made me so goddamn emotional. Knowing that she was going to be permanently blind was bad enough, I wasn't prepared for what happened next…

Reminds me of Nikki: Goddess of Victory where someone saved us from nearly dying and then the next few scenes she died right after 😭

Characters not being in gacha means they actually are not afraid sales will drop for a dead character

The story & music are so beautifully well made. You can feel that a lot of passion went into both elements & they complement each other so well that it just envelops you to really empathize with the characters.

While I appreciate paying attention to player feedback the devs also should make sure they stick to their guns on story direction especially with making deaths of characters they kill permanent or at least if they can be brought back have a logical organic means of doing so because I hear a lot of players wanting Psyche to comeback except it's known that she was a rare case of Charons losing control of their magic and becoming a Filthoid.

They aren't afraid killing their characters.. Though Lady Nifle gave us a hint of how to bring Psyche back..

THIS! This is what i want from a story-rich rpg. It has to be dark. The desperation, emotion, romance, and a small hope of victory leading to a dramatic ending is the best on these kind of rpgs, like Nier, PGR, or even HI3. Genshin is sunshine and rainbows compared to these rpgs
