Here's the thing I have a friend who started HSR and doesn't know much about this type of gameplay and I kinda suck at explaining so the in game tutorial actually explained it him pretty easily for him. Anyways I taught the other complicated stuff afterwords and I gotta say

Jade doesn't deserve the hate. In the end the company can make the decisions on who should explain the gamemode. In one case, Topaz might have been the person to explain about the gamemode instead of Jade, saying that Jade has an important meeting or something.

In another Aventurine could also be a candidate. Don't take any offense but I think if Aventurine explains it, all the people who are down bad liking him would literally complain for not having the VAs of each language not voicing him for the tutorial

Anyways just my personal take.

I like the IPC member for being prominent while not being prominent and professional in their appearances in the story. So just don't complain about the character being chatty, just complain if you need to, to the company who made the decision to make her chatty in the first place

I agree that the tutorial was excessive, but the devs have to assume players haven't played this sort of game before, thus providing a long tutorial to make sure the info is covered. I appreciated the 40+ jades just for the teaching.
